Your Role
The University of Luxembourg seeks to hire outstanding PhD Candidates. The doctoral researcher is expected to contribute to research projects related to the measurement of resilience, economic insecurity and its effects on individual behaviour. He/she is expected to contribute to the research project "FESI – Financial Strain and Economic Instability: Effects on Wellbeing and Behaviour over the Life Course" (FNR-funded) seehttps://www.fnr.lu/projects/financial-strain-and-economic-instability-effects-on-wellbeing-and-behaviour-over-the-life-course/
Applicants with particular interest in empirical research using birth cohort, panel survey or administrative data would be given a strong preference.
The doctoral researcher will be a member of the INSIDE research unit (Integrative Research Unit on Social and Individual Development) within the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at the University of Luxembourg. He/she will work within the research group 'Economic and Social Well-being' lead by Prof. Conchita D'Ambrosio. He/she will enroll in the Doctoral School of Economics and Finance.

Your Profile
Master's degree in Economics (quantitative or research training). Candidates should meet the eligibility requirements of the Doctoral School in Economics and Finance.
Excellent English language skills.
Willingness to work in an inter-cultural and international environment.
Curiosity and self-motivation.
