The PhD program is 4-years, full-time and designed for highly qualified and motivated students. The program combines social and political science, but allows specialization in either field.

5 Bocconi fellowships (which cover four years of study) and 1 full tuition waiver will be made available.

Specialization in the program is organized around the themes of demography, political science, public health and health management, public administration, sociology, economic history and inequality. By its nature, the program is multidisciplinary and emphasizes the intersection of strong theoretical framing and cutting-edge methodological analysis.
